01Leading the locomotion work

I led a small VR locomotion team on Physical Space Management, my Unbox VR project. My work included integrating the movement system into virtual environments and coordinating delivery milestones.

OCTAV lists two VR developers, one artist and a project manager for the published January–March 2024 project phase.

02Movement as part of the environment

The Quest application brings together natural walking, spatial mapping, motion tracking and movement control. The system connects a person’s physical movement to their experience of the virtual environment.

Integration matters here: the movement system has to work within the spaces people explore, alongside the rest of the VR application.

03From locomotion work to delivery

My lead role connected the team’s locomotion work with environment integration and delivery milestones. This was a collaborative VR systems project, combining development, environment artwork and project coordination.
